Join Us – Play Cricket in Epsom & Ewell

Park Hill Cricket Club is looking for new players — whether you’re an experienced cricketer, returning to the game after a few years away, or you’ve never picked up a bat. No trial, no pressure — get in touch and we’ll get you into a game.

Cricket to suit you

We run two sides. The Saturday XI plays competitive league cricket in the Surrey Downs League. The Sunday XI plays social friendlies against welcoming clubs across Surrey, where everyone gets a bat and a bowl — ideal if you’re new to the game or coming back to it.

What it costs

  • Membership: £80 per season — among the lowest fees in the Epsom and Ewell area
  • Match fee: £10 per game, covering pitch hire, teas and the match ball

Try before you join

The easiest way to try the club is to come and play. Our Sunday friendlies are relaxed, all-ability games where everyone gets a proper go — and nobody minds if you’re rusty or brand new. As the squad grows we’ll also restart our net sessions at Epsom College, so every new player brings that a step closer.

Where we play

Home matches are played at Alexandra Recreation Ground, Alexandra Road, Epsom, Surrey KT17 4BW.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be a good cricketer?

No. The Sunday side is built for all abilities and the Saturday side welcomes anyone who wants competitive cricket. Plenty of our players started — or restarted — as complete beginners.

I’ve never played before — is that a problem?

Not at all. Sunday friendlies are the perfect place to start — everyone gets a game, and nobody minds if you’re learning.

How much does it cost to join?

Membership is £80 for the season, then £10 per match when you play. That’s it.

How do I get started?

Send us a message via the contact form — let us know whether Saturday league or Sunday social cricket appeals. We’ll take it from there.
