With wind speeds in excess of Hill's quickest bowling and heavy rainfall in the build up to the game, doubts abounded as to whether Hill would have the opportunity to extend their winning streak. The visiting captain's enthusiasm and punctuality in calling up for a morning pitch report was not matched by his errant charges,… Continue reading 15/07/23 – Mallu You Believe It?

01/07/23 – Warriors Vanquish By Vithlani’s Stand
Another near-subcontinental outfield was the inevitable result of the hottest June on record, as Hill made the journey over to West Byfleet looking to make it 4 wins on the bounce. But confidence was high when taking… Continue reading The Tortoise Succumbs to the Hare

Upon arrival at the ground, the wicket, which was greener than Oscar the Grouch on St Patrick’s Day, was being prepared with a strimmer and didn’t look like it had seen a roller in years. In addition, the changing rooms and… Continue reading Match Report – Mallu CC v Park Hill – Saturday 13 May 2023
Sat Match Report – ‘Challengers See Off Hill In Saturday’s Scorching Heat’. 17/7/21 –Sutton Challengers Vs Park Hill
By Will Chipperton The now-customary scramble for players carried on until Saturday morning as holidays and self-isolation continue to ravage our membership. Keen to avoid last week’s fate of playing with 10 against (then) league leaders, we managed to field 11 players in our clash against second placed Sutton Challengers. The captain regrettably won the… Continue reading Sat Match Report – ‘Challengers See Off Hill In Saturday’s Scorching Heat’. 17/7/21 –Sutton Challengers Vs Park Hill
